The Raspberry Pi 5 is equipped with an integrated power management IC that includes a real-time clock and a charging circuit for a button cell. This button cell can power the clock even when the main power supply is interrupted.
We offer a Panasonic ML-2020 lithium manganese dioxide battery with a two-pole connector, specifically designed to connect to the battery connector on the Raspberry Pi 5's circuit board. Additionally, a double-sided adhesive pad allows secure attachment of the battery inside the case or at another suitable location. This ensures continuous and reliable power supply to the real-time clock, even in the event of a temporary interruption of the main power source.
