Description
The brand-new 27-watt USB-C PD power supply delivers impressive performance with a maximum of 5.1V and 5A, enabling the Raspberry Pi 5 to seamlessly power an extended range of peripherals. By default, the total power drawn by the four USB ports on the Raspberry Pi 5 is limited to a nominal 600mA. This limit is automatically increased to 1.6A once the USB-C power supply is detected.
Furthermore, this USB-C PD power supply is capable of providing power to PD-compatible products with 3A at 9V, 2.25A at 12V, and 1.8A at 15V, making it a cost-effective power supply solution for a variety of applications not necessarily related to the Raspberry Pi.
