With the Merkur-Connect Pi Expansion Board, Raspberry enthusiasts gain access to the world of 6LoWPAN, the Internet of Things (IoT). When combined with the Raspberry Pi, BananaPi-M2-Berry, or OrangePi-Zero and the Smart-SARAH Linux distribution based on Debian, the Raspberry Pi and Merkur-Connect Pi Expansion Board become a 6LoWPAN Edge Router. This connects all Merkur boards to the IP network and makes them accessible via their IPv6 address.
