The digital potentiometer operates similarly to a mechanical potentiometer, but with the distinction that instead of using a physical slider to adjust the resistance, it is modified swiftly and conveniently through digital communication. This communication is carried out based on the I2C communication protocol.
Our module is built around the MCP4018 IC, which provides the capability of a total of 128 steps between 0 and 100k Ohms. This implies that it can adjust the resistance in increments of 781 Ohms.
