These are very slim, extremely light weight batteries based on the new Polymer Lithium Ion chemistry. This is the highest energy density currently in production. Each cells outputs a nominal 3.7V at 2000mAh! This battery comes terminated with a standard 2-pin JST-PH connector - 2mm spacing between pins. Do not attempt to charge these with anything but a charger specifically designed for Lithium Ion batteries.
Battery includes built-in protection against over voltage, over current, and minimum voltage.
Although these cells are rated for 2C continuous discharge, the wiring and connectors are only rated up to 1A, so be sure to take that into account when determining your power requirements.
Be careful with the JST connectors. They can stick in pretty good and tugging on them can damage the connector. Check this tutorial for an easy way to remove them safely.

Arduino is an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple i/o board and a development environment that implements the Processing/Wiring language. Arduino can be used to develop stand-alone interactive objects or can be connected to software on your computer (e.g. Flash, Processing, MaxMSP). The open-source IDE can be downloaded for free...
This adapter allows you to connect a barrel jack connector to bare wires. One end has screw terminals and the other has a 5.5x2.1mm, center-positive male barrel jack. If you need to connect bare wires to a barrel jack on an Arduino or a development board, this might be the simple solution.
The Arduino Starter Kit walks you through the basics of Arduino and electronics in a hands-on way. You will be able to build 15 projects using components that let you control the physical world through different kinds of sensors and actuators.
These headers are made to work with the Arduino Uno R3, Leonardo and new Arduino boards going forward. They are the perfect height for clearing the USB-B connector and great for stacking multiple shields. This kit includes 4 headers (1 8-pin, 1 10-pin and 2 6-pin), enough to connect a shield to an Arduino board. These are the same headers we use in our...
This is the Sunny Buddy, a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) solar charger for single-cell LiPo batteries. This MPPT solar charger provide you with the ability to get the most possible power out of your solar panel or other photovoltaic device and into a rechargable LiPo battery. Set-up is easy as well, just plug your solar panel into one side...
The NCP1402 is a 5V DC-DC converter. This breakout board will accept voltage inputs between 1 and 4 Volts and output a constant, low ripple 5V output capable of sourcing up to 200 mA. This board is great for supplying power to 5V sensors on a 3.3V board, or providing 5V from a AA battery.
This is the T5403 breakout board, a fully calibrated barometric pressure sensor with an I 2 C interface. The T5403 sensor measures the absolute pressure of the air around. This pressure varies with both the weather and altitude. Depending on how you interpret the data, you can monitor changes in the weather, measure altitude, or any other tasks that...
Disc Neodym Magnets 6x3 mm are composed of Neodymium/Iron/Boron (NdFeB), these magnets are curiously strong and make for a great way to attach tools to a metal workbench, hold small children to a fridge, and as a trigger for reed switches.
Turn any USB port on a serial port to TTL level with this handy adapter. Ideal for communicating with interim or final circuits extremely easy via a USB port. The chip in charge of communications is PL2303HX Prolific. Comes with dupont type cables for easy connection, the user can provide their own cables to extend the connection distance.
If you need to charge LiPo batteries, this simple charger will do just that, and do it fast! The LiPo Charger Basic is stripped down of all features and just does one thing well - charge 3.7V LiPo cells at a rate of 500mA per hour. It is designed to charge single-cell Li-Ion or Li-Polymer batteries. Check the datasheet below to see if it will work...
