Description
The official Raspberry Pi AI Kit bundles a Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ adapter with the Hailo AI acceleration module for use with your Raspberry Pi 5. It offers an accessible, cost-effective, and energy-efficient way to integrate high-performance AI. It connects via a short 16PIN cable based on the 16PIN PCIe interface of the Raspberry Pi 5. When using the latest operating system, automatic detection of the NPU occurs and it can be used for AI-supported tasks. The native integration for the system's internal "rpicam-apps" applications for post-processing is also automatically supported.
It can be easily integrated into the official Raspberry Pi 5 Case with Fan White/Red or Raspberry Pi 5 Case with Fan Black with the Raspberry Pi 5 active cooler. The Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ complies with the Raspberry Pi HAT+ specification and is automatically recognized by the latest Raspberry Pi software/firmware.
